About KS1014

If you have been looking for KS1014, you are in the right place. Marc Le Hardware stocks a wide range of items for homes, rentals and building sites in Ruiru, Kiambu and other parts of Kenya. This page gives you the main facts about this item and some practical advice so that you can buy with confidence. Read through it slowly, compare it with what you already have at home, and take note of anything you want to confirm before you pay.

Fitting it properly

For most items in this range, a good fundi will make a big difference. Show them the product page and talk about where it will go before they start work. Confirm what comes in the package and what extra parts, screws or fittings they may need to buy. Where the job involves water or electricity, use someone who is properly qualified. Always follow the instructions that come with the product if they are provided.

Who this is good for

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Taps > Shower Mixers range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

Matching the rest of the room

A room feels neat when the fittings go well together. Before you buy, look at the tiles, paint and other hardware already in place. Think about whether you want this item to blend in or to stand out. Only rely on the material and finish stated in the description, because something that looks like metal in a photo may be made of something else. When the look is important to you, confirm before you buy.

Looking after it

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

The details we have

According to our product records, this item is described as follows: Complete Two Way Shower Mixer + 8" Square Head. We have kept the wording close to what we received so that you get the facts as they are. Photos on the page are there to help you see the general look, but phone and laptop screens can change colours a little. If something important is missing from the description, send us a message and we will try to find out for you.

Check the size before you buy

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your wall, sink or shelf. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

For customers near Ruiru

Being close to Ruiru town means many of our customers are busy people building or renting out homes around the area. They want clear prices and honest product information without wasting time. That is what we try to give on every product page. For buyers in other counties, the online shop lets you look at everything in your own time. Just reach out to confirm availability and how you will get your items.

Money matters

Every project has a budget, big or small. Compare the price of this product with similar ones in the Taps > Shower Mixers section to see what fits your pocket. The cheapest option is not always the best value, and the most expensive is not always necessary. Think about how often the item will be used and how easy it will be to replace. Then pick the option that gives you peace of mind.

More items to look at

Most projects need more than one item. While you are here, check out these other products: SH4306, KS1017, BA541G. You can also go back to the Taps > Shower Mixers section to see similar options. These are only suggestions, so please check each listing to make sure it suits your needs. For the full range, visit our shop page and take your time going through the categories.

Standards and water information

For general guidance, the Kenya Bureau of Standards is a good place to read about quality standards in the country. Those interested in water matters can check the Water Resources Authority. We share these sites to help you make informed choices. They are not an endorsement of this item, and they do not confirm any certification for it.
