Two Way Shower Mixer + Long Spout + 8" Square Head

About KS1017

Many people in Ruiru and the wider Kiambu area come to us when they are fixing up a house, finishing a new build or simply replacing something old. KS1017 is one of the products in our Taps > Shower Mixers range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Looking after it

A little care goes a long way. Wipe the item down once in a while and keep it dry where possible. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, start with plain water and a soft cloth. Strong products like bleach can damage some finishes, so test them on a small hidden area first. Please note that this advice is general and is not a promise about how long the product will last.

A quick word on sizes

Before you buy, take a tape measure and note down the space where the item will go. Write the numbers on paper or on your phone so you do not forget. Check things like the gap available, the position of pipes or screws, and any items close by. Do not judge the size from the photo alone because pictures can be misleading. If the size is not given in the description, ask us to confirm it.

Planning your budget

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include the fundi, any extra fittings and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

Is it right for you?

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Taps > Shower Mixers range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

What you get

According to our product records, this item is described as follows: Two Way Shower Mixer + Long Spout + 8" Square Head. We have kept the wording close to what we received so that you get the facts as they are. Photos on the page are there to help you see the general look, but phone and laptop screens can change colours a little. If something important is missing from the description, send us a message and we will try to find out for you.

Fitting it properly

Get your fundi involved early, even before you pay for the item. They can tell you if the product will work with your current setup and what else might be needed for the job. Do not assume that fixings or connectors are included unless the listing says so. Plan the work for a day when you have water or power off if needed, and keep the packaging until everything is fitted and working.

For customers near Ruiru

Being close to Ruiru town means many of our customers are busy people building or renting out homes around the area. They want clear prices and honest product information without wasting time. That is what we try to give on every product page. For buyers in other counties, the online shop lets you look at everything in your own time. Just reach out to confirm availability and how you will get your items.

Matching the rest of the room

Looks matter too, especially in rooms that guests see. Try to match this item with the colour and style of other fittings in the same room. If your taps and handles are silver, a gold item may stand out in a way you do not want. Remember that the photo is a guide and real colours can look slightly different. If you need an exact match, please ask us to confirm the finish first.

Other products in the shop

Still not sure? Browse the rest of the Taps > Shower Mixers range to see what else is available. Some customers also look at these products: BA541G, EG6034B, EG6033. Just remember that being listed together does not mean the items are made to work together, so check each one on its own. If you are shopping for a whole house, the main shop has everything sorted by category.

Standards and water information

For general guidance, the Kenya Bureau of Standards is a good place to read about quality standards in the country. Those interested in water matters can check the Water Resources Authority. We share these sites to help you make informed choices. They are not an endorsement of this item, and they do not confirm any certification for it.

We hope this page has made your choice a little easier. If KS1017 looks like the right fit, go ahead and add it to your cart. If you still have questions, reach out and we will do our best to help. Thank you for shopping with Marc Le Hardware, your hardware partner in Ruiru and beyond.
