EG6038B for your home in Ruiru

Choosing hardware is easier when you have the right information in front of you. That is why we have put together this page for EG6038B. Whether you are a home owner in Ruiru, a landlord in Juja or a contractor working somewhere in Kenya, the aim is the same: to help you pick the right item the first time and avoid the stress of going back and forth. Let us go through it together, step by step.

Is it right for you?

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

Buying in Ruiru and around Kiambu

Ruiru has grown very fast, with new estates coming up in Membley, Kamakis, Kimbo and along the Eastern Bypass. Many of these homes need hardware for finishing and repairs, and that is a big part of what we do. Customers from Thika Road, Githurai, Juja and Kiambu town also shop with us. If you are further away, you can still browse online, compare prices and plan your list before you get in touch.

Look and finish

Many of our customers in Ruiru like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories section to see a few styles side by side.

Before the fundi comes

For most items in this range, a good fundi will make a big difference. Show them the product page and talk about where it will go before they start work. Confirm what comes in the package and what extra parts, screws or fittings they may need to buy. Where the job involves water or electricity, use someone who is properly qualified. Always follow the instructions that come with the product if they are provided.

What you get

Here is the description we have for this item: 12cm Adjustable Hand Shower + 1.5M Hose + Holder - Black. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Planning your budget

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include the fundi, any extra fittings and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

A quick word on sizes

One of the most common mistakes people make is buying something that does not fit. It happens a lot, and it is easy to avoid. Measure the old item if you are replacing one, and measure the space if it is a new installation. Keep all your measurements in the same unit, either centimetres or millimetres. Then compare them with what the listing says. When in doubt, send us your numbers and we will help you check.

Keeping it clean

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

Other products in the shop

Most projects need more than one item. While you are here, check out these other products: SH001, KS1019, EG038B. You can also go back to the Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories section to see similar options. These are only suggestions, so please check each listing to make sure it suits your needs. For the full range, visit our shop page and take your time going through the categories.

Standards and water information

Some buyers like to do their own research, and that is a good habit. Two helpful Kenyan sources are the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the Water Resources Authority. You will find general information about standards and water there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.

We hope this page has made your choice a little easier. If EG6038B looks like the right fit, go ahead and add it to your cart. If you still have questions, reach out and we will do our best to help. Thank you for shopping with Marc Le Hardware, your hardware partner in Ruiru and beyond.
