About EG038B

If you have been looking for EG038B, you are in the right place. Marc Le Hardware stocks a wide range of items for homes, rentals and building sites in Ruiru, Kiambu and other parts of Kenya. This page gives you the main facts about this item and some practical advice so that you can buy with confidence. Read through it slowly, compare it with what you already have at home, and take note of anything you want to confirm before you pay.

Who this is good for

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

Price and value

Every project has a budget, big or small. Compare the price of this product with similar ones in the Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories section to see what fits your pocket. The cheapest option is not always the best value, and the most expensive is not always necessary. Think about how often the item will be used and how easy it will be to replace. Then pick the option that gives you peace of mind.

How it will look

Looks matter too, especially in rooms that guests see. Try to match this item with the colour and style of other fittings in the same room. If your taps and handles are silver, a gold item may stand out in a way you do not want. Remember that the photo is a guide and real colours can look slightly different. If you need an exact match, please ask us to confirm the finish first.

What you get

Here is the description we have for this item: 12cm Adjustable Hand Shower + 1.5 Hose + Holder. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Shopping from anywhere in Kenya

We started with the Ruiru community in mind, but we serve customers across Kiambu County and the rest of Kenya. Whether you are building in Kahawa Sukari, renovating in Thika or fixing a small flat in Nairobi, the same advice applies. Know what you need, know your sizes, and confirm the details. Please note that this page does not promise stock levels or delivery terms, so ask us about those when you are ready to buy.

Check the size before you buy

Before you buy, take a tape measure and note down the space where the item will go. Write the numbers on paper or on your phone so you do not forget. Check things like the gap available, the position of pipes or screws, and any items close by. Do not judge the size from the photo alone because pictures can be misleading. If the size is not given in the description, ask us to confirm it.

Keeping it clean

A little care goes a long way. Wipe the item down once in a while and keep it dry where possible. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, start with plain water and a soft cloth. Strong products like bleach can damage some finishes, so test them on a small hidden area first. Please note that this advice is general and is not a promise about how long the product will last.

Working with your fundi

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the wall, floor or pipes where the item will be fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

Still not sure? Browse the rest of the Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories range to see what else is available. Some customers also look at these products: KS002 MATT, A007, EG7002B. Just remember that being listed together does not mean the items are made to work together, so check each one on its own. If you are shopping for a whole house, the main shop has everything sorted by category.

Where to read more

Some buyers like to do their own research, and that is a good habit. Two helpful Kenyan sources are the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the Water Resources Authority. You will find general information about standards and water there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.

To sum up, take your time, compare a few options and confirm the details that matter to you. EG038B is just one of many items we carry for homes in Ruiru, Kiambu and the rest of Kenya. Whatever you are working on, we want you to get it right the first time. Asante for choosing Marc Le Hardware.
