Aluminium Basin Mixer, Champagne Gold

About EG6016

Many people in Ruiru and the wider Kiambu area come to us when they are fixing up a house, finishing a new build or simply replacing something old. EG6016 is one of the products in our Basin Taps & Mixers > Basin Mixer Taps range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Matching the rest of the room

Many of our customers in Ruiru like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Basin Taps & Mixers > Basin Mixer Taps section to see a few styles side by side.

Buying in Ruiru and around Kiambu

Ruiru has grown very fast, with new estates coming up in Membley, Kamakis, Kimbo and along the Eastern Bypass. Many of these homes need hardware for finishing and repairs, and that is a big part of what we do. Customers from Thika Road, Githurai, Juja and Kiambu town also shop with us. If you are further away, you can still browse online, compare prices and plan your list before you get in touch.

Planning your budget

The price you see on this page is for the item itself. Remember to also plan for things like fitting costs, extra parts and transport. Writing everything down in one budget helps you avoid surprises. If you are buying for several rooms or many rental units, make a full list with quantities. That way you can compare totals properly and decide where to spend more and where to save.

A quick word on sizes

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your wall, sink or shelf. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

What the listing says

The short version is this: Aluminium Basin Mixer, Champagne Gold. That is what we can tell you for sure. We do not want to add things that are not confirmed, so you will not find made up measurements or big promises here. If you need more, for example the weight, the exact finish or what comes in the box, just ask us first. A simple question now can save you a wasted trip later.

Is it right for you?

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Basin Taps & Mixers > Basin Mixer Taps range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

Before the fundi comes

For most items in this range, a good fundi will make a big difference. Show them the product page and talk about where it will go before they start work. Confirm what comes in the package and what extra parts, screws or fittings they may need to buy. Where the job involves water or electricity, use someone who is properly qualified. Always follow the instructions that come with the product if they are provided.

Looking after it

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

More items to look at

Most projects need more than one item. While you are here, check out these other products: EG6029, EG6027, EG9615. You can also go back to the Basin Taps & Mixers > Basin Mixer Taps section to see similar options. These are only suggestions, so please check each listing to make sure it suits your needs. For the full range, visit our shop page and take your time going through the categories.
