Aluminium Basin Mixer , Black & Gold

About EG6027

Many people in Ruiru and the wider Kiambu area come to us when they are fixing up a house, finishing a new build or simply replacing something old. EG6027 is one of the products in our Basin Taps & Mixers > Basin Mixer Taps range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

A quick word on sizes

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your wall, sink or shelf. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

Look and finish

Many of our customers in Ruiru like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Basin Taps & Mixers > Basin Mixer Taps section to see a few styles side by side.

Where it fits best

This product sits in our Basin Taps & Mixers > Basin Mixer Taps section, so it is mainly meant for people working on that part of the house. It can suit a family upgrading an old bathroom or kitchen, a landlord preparing units for new tenants, or a fundi who needs a reliable part for a client. Think about who will use it every day and how often. Something used by a big family needs more thought than an item for a guest room.

Buying in Ruiru and around Kiambu

Ruiru has grown very fast, with new estates coming up in Membley, Kamakis, Kimbo and along the Eastern Bypass. Many of these homes need hardware for finishing and repairs, and that is a big part of what we do. Customers from Thika Road, Githurai, Juja and Kiambu town also shop with us. If you are further away, you can still browse online, compare prices and plan your list before you get in touch.

The details we have

Here is the description we have for this item: Aluminium Basin Mixer , Black & Gold. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Before the fundi comes

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the wall, floor or pipes where the item will be fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

Keeping it clean

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

Money matters

Every project has a budget, big or small. Compare the price of this product with similar ones in the Basin Taps & Mixers > Basin Mixer Taps section to see what fits your pocket. The cheapest option is not always the best value, and the most expensive is not always necessary. Think about how often the item will be used and how easy it will be to replace. Then pick the option that gives you peace of mind.
