SS304 Angle Valve

About VA117

Many people in Ruiru and the wider Kiambu area come to us when they are fixing up a house, finishing a new build or simply replacing something old. VA117 is one of the products in our Shower Accessories > Angle Valves range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Keeping it clean

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

A quick word on sizes

Before you buy, take a tape measure and note down the space where the item will go. Write the numbers on paper or on your phone so you do not forget. Check things like the gap available, the position of pipes or screws, and any items close by. Do not judge the size from the photo alone because pictures can be misleading. If the size is not given in the description, ask us to confirm it.

How it will look

Many of our customers in Ruiru like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Shower Accessories > Angle Valves section to see a few styles side by side.

Buying in Ruiru and around Kiambu

Being close to Ruiru town means many of our customers are busy people building or renting out homes around the area. They want clear prices and honest product information without wasting time. That is what we try to give on every product page. For buyers in other counties, the online shop lets you look at everything in your own time. Just reach out to confirm availability and how you will get your items.

What you get

According to our product records, this item is described as follows: SS304 Angle Valve. We have kept the wording close to what we received so that you get the facts as they are. Photos on the page are there to help you see the general look, but phone and laptop screens can change colours a little. If something important is missing from the description, send us a message and we will try to find out for you.

Money matters

Every project has a budget, big or small. Compare the price of this product with similar ones in the Shower Accessories > Angle Valves section to see what fits your pocket. The cheapest option is not always the best value, and the most expensive is not always necessary. Think about how often the item will be used and how easy it will be to replace. Then pick the option that gives you peace of mind.

Fitting it properly

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the wall, floor or pipes where the item will be fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

Where it fits best

People buy items like this for different reasons. Some are replacing a broken one, some are building from scratch, and others just want a fresh look. Since it is part of our Shower Accessories > Angle Valves range, compare it with the other options there before you decide. Ask yourself a few simple questions. Where exactly will it go? Who will use it? Does it need to match anything else? Your answers will tell you quickly if it is the right one.

Standards and water information

If you want to learn more about product standards in Kenya, the Kenya Bureau of Standards has useful information. For anything to do with water use and water resources, you can visit the Water Resources Authority. These links are shared for general reading only. They do not mean this product has been certified or approved by those bodies, so ask us if you need specific documents.

To sum up, take your time, compare a few options and confirm the details that matter to you. VA117 is just one of many items we carry for homes in Ruiru, Kiambu and the rest of Kenya. Whatever you are working on, we want you to get it right the first time. Asante for choosing Marc Le Hardware.
