Brass Basin Sink Drainer (300G) - Black

Choosing hardware is easier when you have the right information in front of you. That is why we have put together this page for SD001B. Whether you are a home owner in Ruiru, a landlord in Juja or a contractor working somewhere in Kenya, the aim is the same: to help you pick the right item the first time and avoid the stress of going back and forth. Let us go through it together, step by step.

A quick word on sizes

Before you buy, take a tape measure and note down the space where the item will go. Write the numbers on paper or on your phone so you do not forget. Check things like the gap available, the position of pipes or screws, and any items close by. Do not judge the size from the photo alone because pictures can be misleading. If the size is not given in the description, ask us to confirm it.

Matching the rest of the room

Many of our customers in Ruiru like a clean and simple look, while others go for something bolder. There is no wrong choice, it is about what you like and what suits your home. Just keep in mind that screens show colours differently, so the item may look a bit lighter or darker in real life. Compare it with nearby products in the Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories section to see a few styles side by side.

Keeping it clean

Cleaning depends on what the item is made of. Use a soft cloth and mild soap for regular cleaning unless the product instructions say otherwise. Avoid harsh chemicals and rough scrubbers until you know they are safe for the surface. Hard water is common in some parts of Kiambu, so wipe away water marks regularly. If anything becomes loose or stops working well, ask a fundi to check it as soon as you notice.

What you get

Here is the description we have for this item: Brass Basin Sink Drainer (300G) - Black. This is the information that came with the product, so use it as your main guide. If you need a detail that is not listed here, such as an exact size or a specific material, please ask before you buy. It is always better to confirm than to guess, especially when the item has to fit with things already installed in your house.

Money matters

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include the fundi, any extra fittings and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

Shopping from anywhere in Kenya

Being close to Ruiru town means many of our customers are busy people building or renting out homes around the area. They want clear prices and honest product information without wasting time. That is what we try to give on every product page. For buyers in other counties, the online shop lets you look at everything in your own time. Just reach out to confirm availability and how you will get your items.

Before the fundi comes

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the wall, floor or pipes where the item will be fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

Is it right for you?

This product sits in our Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories section, so it is mainly meant for people working on that part of the house. It can suit a family upgrading an old bathroom or kitchen, a landlord preparing units for new tenants, or a fundi who needs a reliable part for a client. Think about who will use it every day and how often. Something used by a big family needs more thought than an item for a guest room.

More items to look at

Still not sure? Browse the rest of the Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories range to see what else is available. Some customers also look at these products: BA002, A011, A002 MATT. Just remember that being listed together does not mean the items are made to work together, so check each one on its own. If you are shopping for a whole house, the main shop has everything sorted by category.

Useful Kenyan resources

Some buyers like to do their own research, and that is a good habit. Two helpful Kenyan sources are the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the Water Resources Authority. You will find general information about standards and water there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.

We hope this page has made your choice a little easier. If SD001B looks like the right fit, go ahead and add it to your cart. If you still have questions, reach out and we will do our best to help. Thank you for shopping with Marc Le Hardware, your hardware partner in Ruiru and beyond.
