40CM ( SS304 ) Ceiling Shower Arm - Black

About SA001B

Many people in Ruiru and the wider Kiambu area come to us when they are fixing up a house, finishing a new build or simply replacing something old. SA001B is one of the products in our Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Looking after it

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

Planning your budget

The price you see on this page is for the item itself. Remember to also plan for things like fitting costs, extra parts and transport. Writing everything down in one budget helps you avoid surprises. If you are buying for several rooms or many rental units, make a full list with quantities. That way you can compare totals properly and decide where to spend more and where to save.

Who this is good for

Not every product is right for every home, and that is okay. This one belongs to Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories, which gives you an idea of where it is normally used. If you are fitting out rental units, you may care more about easy replacement and a fair price. If it is your own home, you may care more about looks and comfort. Decide what matters most to you, then check the listing against that list.

Look and finish

Looks matter too, especially in rooms that guests see. Try to match this item with the colour and style of other fittings in the same room. If your taps and handles are silver, a gold item may stand out in a way you do not want. Remember that the photo is a guide and real colours can look slightly different. If you need an exact match, please ask us to confirm the finish first.

Shopping from anywhere in Kenya

Ruiru has grown very fast, with new estates coming up in Membley, Kamakis, Kimbo and along the Eastern Bypass. Many of these homes need hardware for finishing and repairs, and that is a big part of what we do. Customers from Thika Road, Githurai, Juja and Kiambu town also shop with us. If you are further away, you can still browse online, compare prices and plan your list before you get in touch.

The details we have

According to our product records, this item is described as follows: 40CM ( SS304 ) Ceiling Shower Arm - Black. We have kept the wording close to what we received so that you get the facts as they are. Photos on the page are there to help you see the general look, but phone and laptop screens can change colours a little. If something important is missing from the description, send us a message and we will try to find out for you.

Fitting it properly

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the wall, floor or pipes where the item will be fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

A quick word on sizes

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your wall, sink or shelf. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

Other products in the shop

Most projects need more than one item. While you are here, check out these other products: N320, A018, A030B. You can also go back to the Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories section to see similar options. These are only suggestions, so please check each listing to make sure it suits your needs. For the full range, visit our shop page and take your time going through the categories.

Standards and water information

For general guidance, the Kenya Bureau of Standards is a good place to read about quality standards in the country. Those interested in water matters can check the Water Resources Authority. We share these sites to help you make informed choices. They are not an endorsement of this item, and they do not confirm any certification for it.

We hope this page has made your choice a little easier. If SA001B looks like the right fit, go ahead and add it to your cart. If you still have questions, reach out and we will do our best to help. Thank you for shopping with Marc Le Hardware, your hardware partner in Ruiru and beyond.
