Premium Gun Grey Glass + Stainless Steel Shelf - 40cm

Many people in Ruiru and the wider Kiambu area come to us when they are fixing up a house, finishing a new build or simply replacing something old. N312 is one of the products in our Shelves > Rectangle Shelves range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Buying in Ruiru and around Kiambu

Ruiru has grown very fast, with new estates coming up in Membley, Kamakis, Kimbo and along the Eastern Bypass. Many of these homes need hardware for finishing and repairs, and that is a big part of what we do. Customers from Thika Road, Githurai, Juja and Kiambu town also shop with us. If you are further away, you can still browse online, compare prices and plan your list before you get in touch.

Keeping it clean

A little care goes a long way. Wipe the item down once in a while and keep it dry where possible. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, start with plain water and a soft cloth. Strong products like bleach can damage some finishes, so test them on a small hidden area first. Please note that this advice is general and is not a promise about how long the product will last.

Is it right for you?

This product sits in our Shelves > Rectangle Shelves section, so it is mainly meant for people working on that part of the house. It can suit a family upgrading an old bathroom or kitchen, a landlord preparing units for new tenants, or a fundi who needs a reliable part for a client. Think about who will use it every day and how often. Something used by a big family needs more thought than an item for a guest room.

Matching the rest of the room

Looks matter too, especially in rooms that guests see. Try to match this item with the colour and style of other fittings in the same room. If your taps and handles are silver, a gold item may stand out in a way you do not want. Remember that the photo is a guide and real colours can look slightly different. If you need an exact match, please ask us to confirm the finish first.

Price and value

The price you see on this page is for the item itself. Remember to also plan for things like fitting costs, extra parts and transport. Writing everything down in one budget helps you avoid surprises. If you are buying for several rooms or many rental units, make a full list with quantities. That way you can compare totals properly and decide where to spend more and where to save.

Take measurements first

Sizes matter more than most people think. A product can look perfect in a picture and still be a little too big or too small for your wall, sink or shelf. So measure twice and buy once, as the old saying goes. If your fundi is around, ask them to take the measurements with you. They will know which points are important for this type of item and can spot problems early.

What the listing says

The short version is this: Premium Gun Grey Glass + Stainless Steel Shelf - 40cm. That is what we can tell you for sure. We do not want to add things that are not confirmed, so you will not find made up measurements or big promises here. If you need more, for example the weight, the exact finish or what comes in the box, just ask us first. A simple question now can save you a wasted trip later.

Before the fundi comes

For most items in this range, a good fundi will make a big difference. Show them the product page and talk about where it will go before they start work. Confirm what comes in the package and what extra parts, screws or fittings they may need to buy. Where the job involves water or electricity, use someone who is properly qualified. Always follow the instructions that come with the product if they are provided.

Other products in the shop

Still not sure? Browse the rest of the Shelves > Rectangle Shelves range to see what else is available. Some customers also look at these products: N007, N229, N064. Just remember that being listed together does not mean the items are made to work together, so check each one on its own. If you are shopping for a whole house, the main shop has everything sorted by category.

Where to read more

Some buyers like to do their own research, and that is a good habit. Two helpful Kenyan sources are the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the Water Resources Authority. You will find general information about standards and water there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.

That is all you need to know to get started with N312. Check your measurements, talk to your fundi and confirm any missing details before you pay. We are happy to help customers in Ruiru, Kiambu and across Kenya find the right hardware for their homes and projects. Karibu Marc Le Hardware.
