2 Way Marble Black ( ABS + SS ) Shower Mixer

About KS2028MB

Many people in Ruiru and the wider Kiambu area come to us when they are fixing up a house, finishing a new build or simply replacing something old. KS2028MB is one of the products in our Taps > Shower Mixers range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Keeping it clean

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

Check the size before you buy

One of the most common mistakes people make is buying something that does not fit. It happens a lot, and it is easy to avoid. Measure the old item if you are replacing one, and measure the space if it is a new installation. Keep all your measurements in the same unit, either centimetres or millimetres. Then compare them with what the listing says. When in doubt, send us your numbers and we will help you check.

How it will look

Looks matter too, especially in rooms that guests see. Try to match this item with the colour and style of other fittings in the same room. If your taps and handles are silver, a gold item may stand out in a way you do not want. Remember that the photo is a guide and real colours can look slightly different. If you need an exact match, please ask us to confirm the finish first.

Planning your budget

We list prices in Kenya Shillings so you can plan easily. When working out your budget, include the fundi, any extra fittings and the cost of getting the items to site. If you are buying in bulk for a building project, talk to us about your full list. Note that this page is not a statement about stock, payment terms or delivery, so confirm those details when you order.

Fitting it properly

Proper fitting helps any product work well and last longer. If you plan to do it yourself, read any instructions carefully and make sure you have the right tools. If you are hiring a fundi, agree on the work and the cost beforehand. Ask them to check the wall, floor or pipes where the item will be fixed. A small problem found early is cheaper to fix than one found after the job is done.

Where it fits best

This product sits in our Taps > Shower Mixers section, so it is mainly meant for people working on that part of the house. It can suit a family upgrading an old bathroom or kitchen, a landlord preparing units for new tenants, or a fundi who needs a reliable part for a client. Think about who will use it every day and how often. Something used by a big family needs more thought than an item for a guest room.

What the listing says

According to our product records, this item is described as follows: 2 Way Marble Black ( ABS + SS ) Shower Mixer. We have kept the wording close to what we received so that you get the facts as they are. Photos on the page are there to help you see the general look, but phone and laptop screens can change colours a little. If something important is missing from the description, send us a message and we will try to find out for you.

Buying in Ruiru and around Kiambu

We started with the Ruiru community in mind, but we serve customers across Kiambu County and the rest of Kenya. Whether you are building in Kahawa Sukari, renovating in Thika or fixing a small flat in Nairobi, the same advice applies. Know what you need, know your sizes, and confirm the details. Please note that this page does not promise stock levels or delivery terms, so ask us about those when you are ready to buy.

Still not sure? Browse the rest of the Taps > Shower Mixers range to see what else is available. Some customers also look at these products: KS2028MW, BA541, KS1013. Just remember that being listed together does not mean the items are made to work together, so check each one on its own. If you are shopping for a whole house, the main shop has everything sorted by category.

Where to read more

If you want to learn more about product standards in Kenya, the Kenya Bureau of Standards has useful information. For anything to do with water use and water resources, you can visit the Water Resources Authority. These links are shared for general reading only. They do not mean this product has been certified or approved by those bodies, so ask us if you need specific documents.
