40CM Square Arm + 8" Square Shower Head ( SS304 ) - Black

Many people in Ruiru and the wider Kiambu area come to us when they are fixing up a house, finishing a new build or simply replacing something old. KS009B is one of the products in our Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories range. Below you will find what we know about it, how to tell if it suits your space, and a few tips that our customers have found helpful over time. Nothing here is complicated, and it should only take a few minutes.

Simple care tips

Keep it simple when it comes to cleaning. Gentle soap, warm water and a soft cloth will handle most everyday dirt. Stay away from steel wool and strong acids unless the maker says they are fine. Check the item now and then for loose screws, leaks or wear, depending on what it is. Fixing small issues early is cheaper and saves you from bigger repairs down the line.

Money matters

Every project has a budget, big or small. Compare the price of this product with similar ones in the Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories section to see what fits your pocket. The cheapest option is not always the best value, and the most expensive is not always necessary. Think about how often the item will be used and how easy it will be to replace. Then pick the option that gives you peace of mind.

Buying in Ruiru and around Kiambu

We started with the Ruiru community in mind, but we serve customers across Kiambu County and the rest of Kenya. Whether you are building in Kahawa Sukari, renovating in Thika or fixing a small flat in Nairobi, the same advice applies. Know what you need, know your sizes, and confirm the details. Please note that this page does not promise stock levels or delivery terms, so ask us about those when you are ready to buy.

Look and finish

Looks matter too, especially in rooms that guests see. Try to match this item with the colour and style of other fittings in the same room. If your taps and handles are silver, a gold item may stand out in a way you do not want. Remember that the photo is a guide and real colours can look slightly different. If you need an exact match, please ask us to confirm the finish first.

A quick word on sizes

One of the most common mistakes people make is buying something that does not fit. It happens a lot, and it is easy to avoid. Measure the old item if you are replacing one, and measure the space if it is a new installation. Keep all your measurements in the same unit, either centimetres or millimetres. Then compare them with what the listing says. When in doubt, send us your numbers and we will help you check.

What you get

The short version is this: 40CM Square Arm + 8" Square Shower Head ( SS304 ) - Black. That is what we can tell you for sure. We do not want to add things that are not confirmed, so you will not find made up measurements or big promises here. If you need more, for example the weight, the exact finish or what comes in the box, just ask us first. A simple question now can save you a wasted trip later.

Before the fundi comes

Get your fundi involved early, even before you pay for the item. They can tell you if the product will work with your current setup and what else might be needed for the job. Do not assume that fixings or connectors are included unless the listing says so. Plan the work for a day when you have water or power off if needed, and keep the packaging until everything is fitted and working.

Who this is good for

This product sits in our Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories section, so it is mainly meant for people working on that part of the house. It can suit a family upgrading an old bathroom or kitchen, a landlord preparing units for new tenants, or a fundi who needs a reliable part for a client. Think about who will use it every day and how often. Something used by a big family needs more thought than an item for a guest room.

More items to look at

Want to compare before you decide? Have a look at the full Shower Accessories > Shower Accessories collection. Here are a few other products in our shop that you may find useful: KS2020B, A002 MATT, EG7002B. Each one has its own page with details and price, so open them and compare side by side. You can also browse the whole Marc Le Hardware shop to find everything else you need for your project.

Where to read more

Some buyers like to do their own research, and that is a good habit. Two helpful Kenyan sources are the Kenya Bureau of Standards and the Water Resources Authority. You will find general information about standards and water there. Please note that linking to them does not mean they have tested or approved this product.

To sum up, take your time, compare a few options and confirm the details that matter to you. KS009B is just one of many items we carry for homes in Ruiru, Kiambu and the rest of Kenya. Whatever you are working on, we want you to get it right the first time. Asante for choosing Marc Le Hardware.
